Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy from my website, www.my-new-place.com. Please read them before you order. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About me

Maria's Market is run by Maria Michailidou, trading as Maria's Market.

2. Who these terms are for

My shop is for consumers buying for their own personal use. I deliver to the United Kingdom, Europe and most other countries, but not currently to the USA, Israel or Argentina.

If you order from outside the UK, you're the importer of the goods. Any import VAT, customs duty or handling fees charged by your country are your responsibility and aren't included in my prices.

3. Ordering

• When you place an order and your payment goes through, you'll receive an order confirmation email. Our contract starts when I send that confirmation.
• If I can't fulfil your order — for example if an item is unexpectedly out of stock, or there's an obvious mistake in the price or description — I'll let you know and refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). The delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
• Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Payment is taken when you place your order. I never see or store your full card details.

5. About my products

• My products are designed by me and 3D printed in my workshop. Small marks and layer lines are a normal part of 3D printing and aren't a fault.
• Colours depend on the filament I'm using at the time, so the colour you receive may differ from the photos unless we've agreed a colour.
• Camera adapters: old cameras vary. Please check the measurements and notes in the product description and my adapter guide. Some adapters, such as the 35mm to 127 adapters, need you to adapt your camera to fit; the product description says when this applies. I'm not responsible for damage caused by modifying a camera to fit an adapter.
• Workshop parts are for hobby and home use, not professional use, unless the description says otherwise. Please check they fit your tool before use.

6. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are explained on my Delivery & Returns page. If your order is delayed by events outside my control, I'll let you know as soon as possible.

7. Cancellations, returns and faulty items

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, and you have legal rights if an item is faulty or not as described. How this works — including the exception for custom-made items — is set out on my Delivery & Returns page.

8. My responsibility to you

• I'm responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of me breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
• I'm not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses, as my products are for personal use.
• Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Your personal information

I only use your personal information as described in my Privacy Policy.

10. Problems and complaints

If something's gone wrong, please contact me first — I'll do my best to put it right quickly.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it.

12. Which laws apply

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
