35mm to 620 (Six-20) Film Adapter Set (2 pcs)

£5.44

UK delivery £1.60

Load ordinary 35mm film into a vintage camera made for 620 film. 620 film is no longer made, but with this set you can shoot 35mm film, which is easy to buy.

You'll get between 17 (24-exposure roll) and 24 (36-exposure roll) panoramic photos, each about 55 × 35mm (2 11/64 × 1 3/8 inches). Because the film is exposed across its full height, you get a distinctive look.

  • You'll receive 2 universal adapters, designed by me and 3D printed in very solid PLA.
  • You can use an original 620 spool as your take-up spool.

Important – please read before buying

  • Check the space: not every 620 camera can take 35mm film. Look at the room around your original 620 spool. If the spool fits tightly, these adapters may not work; if there's a little space (about 3–4mm or more), you should be fine.
  • Tested cameras: I've tried them in the Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 (perfect fit), Kodak Brownie, Hawkeye, Dualflex and Bulls-Eye. The fit is tight, and in some cameras you'll need to remove the small metal tab in the centre that presses on the spool. This won't affect the camera if you want to use 620 film again. I haven't tested other models.
  • Cover the red window: if your camera has a small red window on the back, you must cover it with black tape to stop light leaks, because 35mm film has no paper backing.
  • Unloading: when you've finished the roll, open the camera in a dark room and rewind the film into the 35mm canister by hand – very few 620 cameras have a rewind feature.
  • Expect a little trial and error.

If the adapter doesn't fit your camera, please message me before returning it – I may be able to make a custom adapter or suggest another option for your camera.
